Guinea pig's pooping mucus?

About two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I bought two baby guinea pigs. A couple days ago they were brought to a vet and diagnosed with URI's and were both put on Baytril. Today I notcied that their stool is not the same. Mitzy's poop has dried mucus on it, and Maggie pooped straight mucus. This isn't normal. Could this be a side affect from Baytril? They've only been on it for a day now. They're both still eating great, and drinking great, and still have mounds of energy. What's wrong with my babies?

My dog has a tumor and wont eat.?

Hey. My dog Molly,is about 12-14 years old. She's a bearded collie and the she has a tumor on her shoulder. For the past month she was iffy with eating and kept throwing up. We took her to the vets many times and the last visit a few days ago he found the tumor and weighed her, and shes lost alot of weight. She eats but throws up in the night and probably in the day too so she isnt getting her nutritions. Because she's old we're not giving her and operation or whatever they to do treat tumors. Instead the vet has given her some steroids and we're hoping within 10 days she will either put on weight or at least stay as she is, if she continues to be sick and loose more weight they're going to put her down. We got Molly when I was little and I picked her out, im 18 now and it kills me to see her like this. She's been such an amazing dog, she's had 2 beautiful litters and she did everything her self, we woke up and there they were suckling on her.Thats how amazing she is, she's never bit anyone or fight with our other 2 dogs, her daughter Jessi and Tasha, She's always been a well mannerd lady and its horrible and sickening to see her suffer like this. I know the best thing for her would be to put her down but I want to know if there is any hope at all for her :( We owe it to her to do the best we can to extend her life. My Ipod Touch 3G MC is stuck in a DFU mode loop. How can i fix it?

I was trying to restore it although i kept getting errors in the 1600 series and 3194. Although i was able to get through those with the help of TinyUmbrella's TSS server and using iREB r4. When the ipod finally finished restoring, it showed the apple logo plus a little spinning loading sign then the ipod went back into DFU mode. I am 99.9% sure that it is indeed DFU mode not recovery mode. Please help with anything you can. Thanks.

It's good I like it but, I am finding it really tough to like your characters. They seem a little bit wooden, I can't relate to them in any way. Get out of a phone contract?! Please Help.?

Ok so about 5 months ago i got the blackberry storm with vodafone (Australia) and I am VERY dissapointed. The phone has so many glitches and problems that are just not right. Bluetooth doesn't work, phone randomly turns off, randomly reboots and says there is an error, when im in a call sometimes it just drops the call, the setting options have dissapeared (now i cant change the message tones etc.), the phone freezes often and doesnt respond to me pressing the screen, when writing a message i put my finger over a letter but a different letter in a complety different position is selected, it is SLOW for now reason, sometimes when i am recieving a call the phone rings but the screen for incoming call does not appear it just stays blank. There are so many problems with this phone and I am very dissapointed. I am locked into a 24 month contract and I really want to get out, and I do not believe that i should have to pay because I am highly dissapointed with the service. I have been doing research on the internet and have read that SOOOO many other people are experiencing these problems and when they recieve a new replacement phone, the same things happen again! I do not have time for this and I am wanting to swap over to the Blackberry Bold (Also on Vodafone). I have heard that this phone is MUCH better and does not have all the glitched that the Storm does. I have not sent the phone in yet to be fixed because frankly I don't belive it will be the end of the problems. Does anyone know how i can go about getting OUT of this contract and into a new one? What's causing the rise in ammonia in my fish tank? How do I fix it?

I have a 20 gal. tank, and one little goldfish and a small pleco. (Both are less than 2 in.) I've had them and the tank for about three months. Everything has been fine with the water levels until a heat wave we had here. My goldfish got really sick and layed at the bottom of my tank because the water was so hot. I did a 10% water change out of cycle to cool him down. He seemed much better the next day, but he had 'black smudge' on his side. I checked the ammonia levels yesterday, and they were really high (about 1 ppm comapared to the usual 0) Was the water change what caused the spike in ammonia? Or was it the heat? How can I keep my fishtank cooler in the future? And how do I get my ammonia levels down now?

What is a good summer camp on the East Coast?

I am looking for a good summer camp in north carolina. Something like wilderness camping tha tsort of thing. I am kind of worried about other kids not really "getting into it" and just trying to act cool and ruining the time for me. I went to one camp "Camp Herring Ridge" it was kinda fun but not really outdoarsy. Also the girls were really sepperated from the guys and some of my best friends are girls. I had a really great experience at "Wilderness Survival camp" that was in Tennesee. The other kids were really awesome and the counselers we like cool not all "you can't do that it's against the rules" "E" the only problem i had with that camp was it had a set schedule for every day. hiking one day rock climbing the next...so on so on... i would like a bit of freedom not all people telling me i can't do specific things that aren't really dangerous for me. First of all..try having 2 kids and then tell me how your body looks...lol ! To me it sounds like you have no real problem at all (as far as weight goes)...sounds like your unhappy on the inside more, or maybe you feel like your not standing up to some expectation or how you should look in comparison to others. I feel the same way, i just had my 2nd son in August and i am at my highest weight in my life...i am 5'11 but i am waaaayyyy over your 125...i feel so depressed sometimes looking in the mirror..why cant i go back to the way i was?? And dont get me wrong...i have never been a thin girl... Its hard and i cannot motivate myself to excersize either. Plus having 2 kids one 4 and one 3 months makes it hard to have any alone time to do that...by the time my husband gets home from work its to late (and im too tired) to go work out...But....if you feel this bad, then you will just make up in your mind to do it...eating healthy...going for a walk or a run...you just have to do it to change it. There is nothing wrong with shopping for bigger clothes, i was in denial for a while after i had the baby...blaming it on the "new low waist style" as to why i can pull up my old pre-pregnancy jeans...I broke down and bought a bigger size but kept all my other clothes...i told myself i will wear these until i can lose the weight i gained. But please dont get caught up in this..i have to be stick thin to be beautiful society. Im sure your georgeous and if you cant shop in the juniors section anymore so what...those sizes are unbelievable anyways....my 4 year old son fits into some of those sizes it seems. Im not sure how old you are or what but...let me tell you...buy a bigger size!! there is nothing flattering than squezzing yourself into clothes that are too small for you, it will just make you look bigger and feel worse. Get some bigger clothes but make the decision to try and lose the weight in the mean time. It wont happen overnight & you dont have to starve yourself. There is no pill that will just make it go away. Being heavey doesn't automatically mean your not beautiful. You need to learn that first before you decide your unhappy. I suppose thats my downfall also...i work in a plus size clothing store that sells awesome trendy plus size clothes...i am big but i am beautiful, and i know it. Plus i am surrounded by girls i work with who are confadent in the way they look. So its a positive enviorment to be in, people will always judge you if you are bigger, but its how you feel inside thats important. Nobody should be made to feel bad because they are heavey.

Yes there is a difference. It is the grade of the meat. I feed my puppy Orijen. I have to say what you feed your puppy really makes a difference on their coat and health. Innova is a great brand for dog food too. It is a little bit cheaper than Orijen and EVO, but it is pretty good quality food. I wouldn't base on the food price to judge the quality of the food. Most pet store like petco and petsmart charges $40 - $50 for a 30lbs bag of dog food. I normally pay $60 for a 30 lbs bag of Orijen dog food. Check out local dog store, they tend to sell brands like better quality dog food for the same price you would pay at petco and petsmart. I have a 1996 jeep grand cherokee Lardeo, with 6 cy. 4.0 L engine. I've been having some issues, kind of like jerking a little. But it's only every once in a while, and I've had the jeep for 3 months, used. I've gotten an oil change, starter done, dist cap replaced, and some other things done to it. Normally when its a little low, (like maybe 1/4 tank gone) it may or may not do it, but whenever I fill her up, it runs smoothly. I think it's the pcv but I can't seem to find it on my engine. Mcclain reel mower problem?

I am having problems with my pull sting on my Mcclain reel mower. It has a 3 hp Briggs and Stratton engine on it. When you pull out the sting to start the mower it starts right up. The sting winds itself back up like normal but after using the mower for a few min the mower makes a loud screeching noise. It looks like the sting somehow is getting unwound inside the cover or something. If I pull the sting to start the mower and don’t let it wind back up the mower will not make the noise. I have an opinion question....First of all I currently reside in Maine. I have almost 2 years left of school, not even. My plans after high school are college, and exploring what's out there! I want to move to Hayward California because of California State University: East Bay. It's a good school for what I want to study and it's in California. I bought a Thistle Finch Screen bird Feeder about a week ago at petco. It was not a very cheap bird feeder. I also bought thistle seed. When i got home, i cleaned my bird feeder and filled it with thistle seed. I hung the feeder on my house gutter where i can watch them eat. It has been a week and not even one finch touched my feeder! I have another tube feeder filled with a different kind of seed also placed on my gutter and sparrows go crazy for it! Depressed after bad rhinoplasty results, please help?

Please help, is it parasites?

We have 2 little red snapper turtles in a 55 gallon tank. This tank previously had some fish in it from our local lake and we ended up getting what we thought were parasites. We cleaned the tank--clear down to bleaching the tank, bleaching the decorative rocks and other decorative items in tank. We threw away the rocks that were in the bottom in fear of not getting them clean enough. About a week after all of that we got some red snapper turtles. Put them in the tank(we got them July of this year) and haven't had any problems until recently. The turtles are thriving very well so we don't think the 'parasites' are harming them. The 'parasites' look like little white moving around. As I was reading another article I think that myabe we aren't cleaning the tank enough....the last time it was cleaned was the beginning of November. BUT we've been cleaning the tank once a month with no problems until now. Usually when we clean one tank we clean both of our 55 gallons. My husband has had fish ever since I've met him but this is our first time with turtles. PLEASE HELP US we don't want to loose our turtles--our kids would be devistated!

The pain intesifies at night because my food digests very slowly. I eat small meals and enjoy getting out, camping and hiking. I have been diagnosed with Barrett's Esopahus. I take hydrocortisone as a replacement steroid for what my adrenals would put out if they had not been removed because of a pituitary tumor in 1971. I don't usually complain about pain, but is intense tonight. I do not want to take pain medicine. Is there anyone here with GERD or ulcers in the esophagus and stomach?

Is the NCAA doing the right thing with regards to college requirements for its athletes before they turn pro?

I feel that the NCAA needs to raise their requirements. I enjoy see young, fresh basketball players like Kevin Durant (A great basketball player!) go to the NBA and play with the "big kids." But I feel that these players need a little more, a back-up plan. Many of us who watch pro circuits often see young and upcoming college freshmen and sophmores drafting, only to see them fade into the background of the pro game. This may not be the situation for Durant and even McRoberts from Duke. But I think that something needs to change and guidelines into rules. I love the role models that appear but hate knowing that if they could have just waited one more year they could have been even more.

I hear voices :S and idk why?

I'll hear voices out of nowhere. Like just a couple days ago I was at the store with my mom and while she was at the counter checking out I heard a whisper saying are you Wanda? Wow - I'd never really heard of a 'good' panic attack but I suspect that one could be triggered in a person who finds out they just won Lotto or something...I don't actually have panic attacks, but I do have serious anxiety attacks that can actually accompany some depression...Hope your multiple attacks subside though - it's not worth the good ones if you have twice as many bad ones that last twice as long! Oh, and typically for me, an anxiety attack is precipitated by something that happens in my life, not just out of the blue -- I thought panic attacks were like that too, but apparently not....
