I want to be a doctor, but...........................…

I am planning to become a doctor, but I also want to be a makeup artist. I have a major pion for both. Can I be a part-time makeup artist for an actual company (MAC, Bobbi Brown) without going to makeup school while I'm in college? I don't want my entire career to be makeup artistry, but I want to do it during college. Thanks!
